Winter Wheels..

Post by Bristol RS » Mon Nov 18, 2019 10:36 pm

Anyone fit steels or other alloy wheels on their car for winter if so what do you use?

What size steel fits on the RS4 if there is one or what other Audi alloys

Cheers

There was a specific RS4 5 spoke, 18" winter alloy wheel design that was a bit narrower than the normal 18" wheel option.

They only fit over the standard brake setup though, not the ceramics.

Easier to clean but look a bit odd. I run the standard 19" wheels with winter tyres and just accept they take longer to wash.

Mine came with some 18"x8 ATS Twists and winter tyres which I fitted the first couple of winters, but now I don't use it in winter so I don't bother fitting them any more.

18" is the smallest you can go.

I use a set of the 7.5Jx18" OEM winters (8E0601025AH) with 225/45 Michelin Pilot Alpin 5. Wasn't convinced they wouldn't look a bit odd before i got them (second hand from Germany w/o tyres but wih TPMS sensors fitted & operational). Quite like the look of them now (crap picture attached!)
