Hi everyone,
Thought I'd share with you my woe.

. Car is at the dealer as I speak, and has been for over 2 weeks. It is a 2014 car with a Audi warranty till the end of January. Water is running down from behind the dash and soaking the carpets both sides. First of all they said there was a blockage in the plenum chamber but it has cleared now.( How can a blockage clear itself?) They say it needs new carpets, a control unit that sits in the footwell because it is defective (everything was working when I left the car with them) and a seal. £2700!! The car is under warranty till the end of the month but apparently this is not covered. Wel it wouldn't be as surely they would not expect this to happen in the first place
.
I've told them I am not paying for this as I don't expect an 7k car to leak water, let alone one costing 70k

. Then they said they would like to investigate further to make sure they know where the water is coming in, but at my cost, therefore 2 hours labour, £300!! Gets better doesn't it.
I called Audi UK on Friday 11th, and was promised a call back by Tuesday 15th latest. Heard nothing until yesterday when I was told I would receive another call on Monday presumably with a verdict. Watch this space!
I'm disgusted with Audi over this. Even if it is not covered, I would have thought they would want to help me with this, for good customer relations as it must be unusual.
but instead it seems they want to get as much as they can out of me from a problem that should not arise in the first place.
Anybody of this problem with the C7?
Thanks.
