Where would you usually join the A12?

I've been accepted for the display also.alex760 wrote:Absolutely, I'm meeting the C6 in Didcot so could meet up there? Holmsfree any good to you?Moonlight Blue wrote: ↑Sat Feb 09, 2019 10:14 amI'm showing as "accepted" and will be coming down from Abingdon in the B8 if I can tag along?![]()
I used to be cholsey based, now closer to didcot so not far away at all
Does anyone know what an appropriate arrival time at Goodwood is?
Has anyone kept a track of the Didcot posse?

Is that where the A12 meets the A120? What time are you looking to leave?
Cheers

Re: GoodWood 'Fast Estate' Brekkie 3rd March
I'm easy on time ,not to sure when gates open I recon it would take around 2 hours from the A12/ A120 junction may be a little quicker if we push on a bit.as I say I don't mind what time we leave

I'm happy for an earlyish start, it's around an hour and a half from Mcd's so shall we say meet at 7 as a start point but happy if anyone would prefer earlier/later.

That works for me. 0700 meet it is.alex760 wrote:Moonlight Blue wrote: ↑Mon Feb 11, 2019 3:59 pmYes good for me too! Re: GoodWood 'Fast Estate' Brekkie 3rd March
The car park opens at 6:30 and gates open at 7:00 and finishes at 12 noon. Google maps is saying about 2 hours and a quarter. How about we meet at the quality hotel Colchester at 6? That would get us there at the back of 8.
You still interested in going down the A3?
Cheers

That sounds good to me, I couldn't work out from the email from Goodwood whether there's an expectation that accepted display vehicles have to be in by a certain time? I've emailed them to ask the question. Assuming there's no expectation, 0700 sounds good.Holmsfree wrote: ↑Wed Feb 13, 2019 8:41 pmThat works for me. 0700 meet it is.alex760 wrote:Moonlight Blue wrote: ↑Mon Feb 11, 2019 3:59 pmYes good for me too! I would imagine if your car has been accepted to display you need to be there when it’s being set up.Moonlight Blue wrote: ↑Thu Feb 14, 2019 11:19 amThat sounds good to me, I couldn't work out from the email from Goodwood whether there's an expectation that accepted display vehicles have to be in by a certain time? Just out of interest, is there anyone going that can do coding? I have a few things that I fancy changing and it would be good to see what the other options are too.
I also have a cd changer that I removed whilst removing my rnse that’s sitting doing nothing, if anyone wants to give me a note or two for.
Cheers

I’ll have my VCDS with me but I’m no pro on what to do.
