Well (without going into details) I’ve been admitted into psychiatric hospitals three times in the last two years so I genuinely am completely relaxed about what is quite simply a car.

I love my car. I genuinely do. It is one of my genuine loves. But it’s a car and me prioritising my recovery to ensure that I’m still around for my five year old son will always be far more important than anything that has a price tag.

:beerchug:

I am more than willing to wait for Grizz to do his stuff. I stated that to him when he got the car and we have regular chats on the phone to discuss the car and lots of other matters relating to cars, including his recent holiday to Vegas for the motor show over there.
Ah feck Grizz and his Vegas holidays, it's that gobshite that got me hooked going there, he's cost me around £50k!!!

Has he started to strip it yet do you know? I'd be surprised if he didn't have a pretty good idea what the issue was after the first check.

Yep, the car is in the workshop. Hoping a conclusion on Monday although we do have a strong suspicion.

Someone will definitely get the prize...

I’m not sharing the suspicion until I know for sure and the reason for that will become clear.

Dunno about the car, but footers appears to have had a stroke.

Any longer and we'll never know what the problem was.

They'll be too busy working through the myriad of other issues that have made themselves known after been stuck in the yard for so long

I have a feeling the original garage may be getting a phone call from you in the shape of "hey, remember that RS6 that you looked at with the dodgy electrical connection, you owe me some money back you bunch of fcuk wits"

Well here is an update, albeit diagnosis is ongoing. The flywheel has moved and locked against the engine. Preliminary checks suggests the engine is fine although this is still to be confirmed.

We’re now trying to work out why the flywheel has come loose.

We’ve also established that the starter motor wasn’t changed and there is a separate conversation happening on this one.
