I have seen a large number of saloons and estates being sold for parts over the years, more saloons as they are generally cheaper, don`t know of an accurate way to find numbers, apart from as above "How Many Left" is the only site I know, I have a saloon and been told by a few garages you just don't see these anymore.

I see more saloons than Avants around these days. Not that I see many of either any more.

It's all good. The rarer they get, the more they're worth.

Howmanyleft is wildly inaccurate. Probably because the DVLA are such muppets. It reckons there is 1 Plus left in the UK.
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)
///M3 E46 | XC90 (V8, natch) | Passat GTE | RR Classic V8 flapper

Yeah its not very good at separating different versions of the same model. I think it all goes down to the exact wording on the log book... A lot of the categories it shows for "RS6" will be a mix of C5,6&7's....
