Dreaded buckled wheels :/

Post by guyneutron » Fri Jul 20, 2018 11:23 am

Posted this on he registry thread, but thought I should start a new one.
Owned my car for less then a month, when picking up the car (drove from Leicester to London) I felt a vibration in he steering wheel at highways speeds. I thought it would be your typical wheels balancing or alignment, and raised this to the dealer the next day. I had an appointment already at my
Local dealer scheduled for 3 weeks later. Fast forward to his Tuesday , I was told rear
Breaks are worn and 2 or 3 wheels are
Buckled.
I am very confident that Leicester Audi will sort this issue, but as a preemptive move I called Audi UK , to address potential future problems.
Wow, the ignorance.
How common is this problem? Those of you who have had this issue, how was is dealt with? Have you raised a complaint to Audi UK?
This is my 3rd Audi and I have owned many other cars, and have never had this issue.
Maybe we should all email the director of Audi UK at the same time so his problem is acknowledged ?
Any input or ideas are
Welcome

VAG. Are so massive if you look at all the brands they own, they don’t give a flying F##k if they lose the odd customer. Unfortunately the Audi’s are actually very good cars. The RS6 C7 is very much the best all round car out there so why should Audi UK actually care? Well they should but that’s like all massive companies the little man who buys one every three years seems to be of little interest.
