Well - that's two I killed!!
Re: Well - that's two I killed!!
I think he’s always purchased it with a view to sell, he’s a dealer iirc?
Re: Well - that's two I killed!!
WBAC do that. They scan a random couple of documents then rip it all up and bin it. Retards.
Daytona RS6 C5 Avant. Viper'd, Billies, Waggers, MTM box brain, C6 stoppers, xcarlink, R8 coolant cap (woohoo)

It’s says all the invoices are present?

OK - here's the final chapter! Conversation with Humza:
Yep sold yesterday - To bloke in walthamstow - He does car restorations - Sold it through autotrader. Had to knock off £500 due to knocking sound right side of the engine after u rev it. Sold for 5,200.
What did you pay at auction - only interested to see how little the original scam guys may have got?
The car was costing me about 4,850 - The scammers cleared them selves a 1000 easily. They didnt even clean out the coolant - Was filled with oil
Don't recognise the knocking sound - not one I have heard. Presume the oil level was right? How much oil was in the coolant - I assumed they only just put a little in the top!
Had to drain it out twice - Coolant cap was broken so had to buy a new one - Im guessing the scammers caused the knocking. Definitely can hear it after you rev it new buyer assume its the chain guides.
What a bummer - sorry you had the hassle. I did tell the auction house about the scam hoping they would add it to the car info, but their excuse was that they were selling on behalf of a third party (presumably WBAC) and so wouldn't do it. Thanks for sorting it, and I hope it made the rather thin margin you got worth the while.
Was a please driving the car you built awesomely fast - Quickest i ever drove
Thanks
I loved it, and I hope the car restorer does a great job. If you still have a way to contact him do encourage him to look me up on the FB group, or better still come to RS246.com.
Could be the chain guides. I can't remember when they were last done (and don't have the paperwork
) The car has been sitting around a lot over the past 2 months and they may just have stiffened up.
Happy days guys - and let's hope the car comes back on here even shinier than when I sold it!

It seems to be back on again.
Edit: No mention of having KW coilovers instead of DRC.

If an apple a day keeps the doctor away, when doctors eat apples do they disappear?

Re: Well - that's two I killed!!
I'm not sure, but I think this may be an old advert. The Pics are the ones Humza had, and he said he sold it through Autotrader, and I have been contacted by the "new owner" asking some pertinent questions that only someone who actually had the car would ask. Also checked and it is now taxed which it wouldn't be if it was still in the trade.
Thanks for spotting the ad though!
Dave
A very "MATURE AUDI ENTHUSIAST"!!
