Air filter thing!!!

Has anyone got one of these in the air filter inlet? It was in the end of the inlet as it plugs into the top of the air box?

Never had one on my other b7s?

No me either. It was on my 2.7 d B7 avant. I wonder if the 4.2 doesn’t have one.

Guess so. I remember giving it a good clean when I changed the air filter, although I don't remember any difference afterwards.
