I think it would be a good thing that we have a broad time to meet so if some one is running a little late we can all convoy down there.

Agreed. Starts at 9 so maybe 8 aim the leave at 8:30?

yep that sounds good it gives us all a 30 minute window to make it to the sevices.
Is there a car park that we can use or do we park in the petrol station?
Big car park.

Hi chaps, I'd like to tag along if you will allow it. I live a couple of miles from Beaulieu, but would like to come out and meet you at Rownhams for the drive in.

Good numbers!!

I'm just chatting to Jon today to start thinking about meeting points etc. There's a few guys interested from the RS FB page too and will try and get them to join here to manage everything in one place.

This should be a great day.

Ok people. Where are you all coming from? It seems M3 - M27 seems the most common route for meeting points, will anyone else be coming a different route?

As it stands we plan to meet at Rownhams service station just after you join the M27 after leaving the M3. Show starts at 9 so planning to leave there at 8:30. I’ll be there from just before 8 I expect to hand out the window notices we need to display.

I live in St Albans Herts, there is a shell petrol station right by the M25 jct 21A if anyone wants to meet there we could convoy round the M25, M3 to rownhams

Hi can anyone help me please.Ive just bought a b7 estate which i love but it came with some 20" Rohana alloys with 35 profile tyres.I want to find a set of rotors for it but 19" and go up to a 40 profile tyre as there are soooo many potholes where i live that it only took me a week to blow one. There are soo many different variants on ebay that im a bit lost as to what will go on there.I dont want any copies! Theyre made of cheese!
I want them to look as deep as possible,so any help with pcd /width / stud pattern etc would be greatly appreciated before i go and buy the wrong thing .
Thanks Tim

Post this in the B7 section under its own heading and you’ll get a better response.

I'm either coming from Stansted or staying down locally the night before. I'll figure that out with the boss ASAP

Route from Rownhams to Beaulieu -
I hope you don't mind a little local knowledge being suggested:
From Rownhams, Sat Nav will direct the route down the M271 which is from Junction 3 of the M27, just after the services - However, if we leave the services and stay on the M27 until the following junction (Junction 2 for the A326) the route is less complicated with no traffic lights etc which could break us up. This preferred option is 50/50 dual carriageway which gives ample opportunity to re-group and stay together.

Also, for those that have not been to the New Forest before, ponies, donkeys and cattle roam free on the roads. There is a 40mph limit which is enforced by camera vans etc. The animals have right of way and hitting one can make a big mess!!!!

Perfect, thanks for this. Route sounds perfect.

Question for the usual team, is someone bringing radios? One at the front and one at the rear, make sure the group are together?

I’ll be bringing a Radio, a Mintex as purchased when we went to Wales. Highly recommended for all 👍🏼
