Carl was my understudy. I taught him from scratch from 1997 whilst we worked at Quicksilver Birmingham. I then took him along to Sextons when I got poached to become the workshop manager in the Birmingham. After a couple years I went on to the mobile installation team and Carl joined me doing that and that’s when Stuart was also a mobile engineer. Stuart later became a Team leader/Auditor. I still speak to Carl and I believe he works for Alpine now after a spell at Parrot. Do you know the both of them?

I’ve actually had 3 Impreza’s. White,Blue and Green all with Gold wheels and dirty great big audio installs. I will admit I “WAS”a bad bad boy. I’m a big man now (And old) and drive more sensible cars.

I still have £7500 (2004 retail price) of stuff in a box. Focal components, Rockford Amps, Alpine mini disc Flip screen, rear headrest screens, alpine sat nav and multichanger. I took it all out of my BMW 330d sport touring back in 2005 and it’s been in the box ever since. I just can’t be arsed anymore. Plus i have a broken balance organ in my left ear (keyhole operation in July to fix) and I’m now 35% deaf in the same ear due to all the high dB installs we used to do. My new Mrs doesn’t do loud music/ max power scene, so another reason to give it up.
