Looking to buy

Post by Luke-RS » Mon Jan 22, 2018 11:04 am

Hi just sold my 720bhp e63.. got sick of rwd so I'm looking for rs6/7 soon

Just a quick question about tuning/exhaust, sure I will think of more lol

1st thing i plan on doing is fitting catless downpipes.. are these easy to fit or do the subframe or anything require dropping? And will it be ok to drive the car untill I get it tuned at mrc? I assume the light will come on for the time being but some cars seem ok to use and some are recommended not to use by my tuner when I had a gtr

Thanks

I'd just do it all in one go - order the downpipes etc in advance and get Doug @ MRC to work his magic

It's not a RS6.

But it's fairly well specced. And is one of the knobs next to the headlight switch broken? And the it has an efficiency mode? Didn't think they had this on the RS.

Do you mean the dimmer switch? I’ve always thought that mine was a bit weird, it is the same as that!

Pretty good spec on that... No good for the dogs

Yes I think it's the dimmer. Can't zoom in on photos. I'll take a look at mine later.

Something odd about that car, pics show it a facelift, but listing says its a 14plate
Facelift on the RS7 started 2015 onwards - late 64 plate.

Thats an early car, as suspected.
Late cars have different Rev counter numbering, that car has the early clocks.

So it seems the rear lights have been upgraded (straight swap) and its had a new front bumper and grill to accommodate the facelift front lights..

Makes you think if the car has had a knock or if previous owner just wanted to upgrade the look hmm

Also what is the package for front and rear 360 cameras

Thanks
