C6 RS6 Exhaust valve mods

Thinking of soon buying a C6 and wanted to get an aftermarket exhaust but am worried about hassle from neighbours do any of the aftermarket systems have the valves fitted so it can be set to quiet on cold start in the winter months ?

MTM did an exhaust which had valves on it I believe look on the QST website.

Demand Engineering and Fourie Fabrications could build you an exhaust to your requirements taking into consideration noise levels. They would be the two I would approach if I was doing another C6 exhaust. Or you could get an off the shelf system such as SuperSprint.

I have a MTM valved exhaust fitted to mine, with the valve being wired into the rear blind switch on the centre console. Cold start is great for waking the neighbours (but can be turned off). On full chat with valves open the sound is awesome, especially on up-shifts and throttle blipping down the box is pure music

Long autobahn/motorway cruises with valves closed - slightly louder than standard but no droning either.

Great exhaust system but not the cheapest either.

Just to add to the options, Demand Engineering custom fabbed a valved system of me. Sounds ace and pops/crackles even louder now
