I was told by some investors to expect a crash just before Xmas , then expect it to sky rocket out of reach in the new year. So to buy as much as I can at the dip/crash then hold out for long term.

Also when china wakes up in the next few hours expecting another dip as they all try to cash out.

Or, to present another scenario; once the downward trend becomes established - systematic trend-following hedge funds start taking short futures positions - thus accelerating the downward price movement. They probably need more liquidity in the market, and a longer history of price movements before they get involved - both of which might happen in the new year.

Thread is always full of doom and gloom with the non believers trying to prove themselves right for not getting into it.

I am still about £18k up on what I invested into this. I have been through many dips over the years and this will be exactly the same. It will progress again, even more rapidly in the new year than it has done this past year.

For those wanting to get in on it, now is your prime opportunity. Buy in the dip ! The longer you wait the more expensive it will be and the higher the risk will be. The next dip will not be as cheap as this one as the coins will be more costly, therefore the fall price will also still be more costly.

If you’d heeded my advice a week or 2 ago you’d have saved yourself the 40% ish drop, and could then get back in at the lower levels now. Just because you believe in it doesn’t mean you have to blindly stay fully invested regardless of what’s happening in the market - no smart trader does that in a liquid market.

It’s called risk management.

Most people “investing” in bitcoin are not ‘smart traders’ ...

I'm not surprised you haven't replied my previous post

I posted 3 "grins" as available on this forum to show my laughter at that guy's post

You post asking me if I've been abused by a paedophile (badly spelt post)

Now, I may or may not have been. Odds are someone on this forum has..

So, how do you feel about your post? Was it serious? or "funny"?
