Is it a currency? If it is then it’s useless due to its extreme volatility

Is it an asset? But is has no intrinsic value

So, basically it’s made up pieces of code that have somehow made a lot of people very rich.

Amazing really.

It is..
And good health to the ones who went in early!!
Jammy basts!
Still time yet so people think

Disclaimer.. obv. Don't put in any more than you can lose etc etc

Edit.. and bitcoin and /or some of the derivatives *could* go mainstream. Free or minima fees l buying/selling over borders etc

No wonder the banks don't like it/ trying to get on it with futures....

Wurth a punt?
Who knows but no-ones a moron or deluded..

Might pay for a service
Might pay for a new car
Might pay for a new house
Etc..
Etc
I'm not expecting the above but ....
Fingers crossed
Mike

don0301, how long have we known each other to be in a position to say what each other’s net worth is or anything else to be precise.

We don’t know each other.

So I wouldn’t comment on what I don’t know about someone including you.

However if you’re ever in need of a private offshore banker, there’s a few I can personally recommend you to.

Haha, not my world....

What confuses me is you built a <beep> 10 yr old RS4 from 3 cars saying you only could do it in Dubai cos of cheap labour, and couldn't afford to do it in UK

Yet you're implying you're in a world of offshore banker mates lol

Your <beep> just doesn't add up

I wondered if you would post actual dates/numbers

I suspect you won't do that again

A liar will always get caught out

I have no idea your "trades" are real or not, I suspect not

When you posted your "trade" I suspect you picked a point on the graph to make you look clever, but not too outlandish, but I don't think you thought through the $92,000 purchase..

I call bullshit, I see no proof otherwise..
Did I say when I got involved in CC? No, I merely demonstrated 1 trade that I had previously done.

Ok so in your humble opinion my old RS4 is a pile of <beep>. Labor rates are, relatively cheap by comparison to say the U.K. and what i meant was it wouldn’t be financially viable. Meaning I would be at more of loss than if I had the car built here when I come to sell the car. My parts bill alone is probably more than the cost of your car.

I had also thought about building a B8 rs4 saloon but then someone had already done that back in the states.

I also have a 2008 gallardo superleggera TT but as thats almost 10 years I guess that is would you call a “beep”. I’m $160k into that one excluding the purchase price. You’ll find me on lambo talk under the same name.

And the bankers are not my “mates”, I know them through having a working relationship.

UBP SA & Standard bank IOM if you must know.

And I’m very well aware what those 25 Btc cost me.

What am I to gain from bs?

I don’t see what your end game is??

Can you not simple accept that some people are doing well for themselves in life. Is it really that hard to believe. Or maybe because as you say this is “not your life” so these are all big numbers to you which are also outside your realms of possibility.

So this is where it ends, not because I can’t prove myself but because I don’t need and besides I’ve entertained you and trolling for long enough.

Ignore him pal he’s clearly jealous. Respect to taking the plunge and investing in bitcoins. 5 years ago I was thinking about it and didnt now I’m kicking myself. Such is life.

I just want to say guys, I think the time's is drawing near for the whales to come in and short all the money thats flowed into bitcoin lately. If you have made good money, then cash out your initial investment at least. And put some stop loss on any trades!!!

To be honest - I thought bitcoin would take a dive as soon as futures started trading. That hasn’t happened!

It’s a pretty incredible run - never seen anything like it. Makes no sense to me!

Actually futures were trading at a premium. This so called “run” or bubble will continue.

personal opinion and talking with a few people that have bought bitcoins over the last few years........you can't beat the trend.....

If you bought years ago then obviously hold...but if you only bought in the last few weeks hoping it'll hit 50k, you better be willing to hold it all the way down to maybe 3-4k before it rebounds....or even down lower than that!
