Hi people I'm in the market for a RS4 B7 Saloon or cabriolet, I have a £15k budget No green or silver please, must have FSH

Would like Bucket seats, carbon inlay and flat bottom steering wheel

Am I asking for to much for my £15k budget !!!

Looked at 4 so far and all been over priced Rubbish that need big money work, it seems the cars with 5+ owners are just abused and then sold on

That’s because they are going for silly money at the moment. The moment they became affordable to buy (not to be confused with affordable to run) people who either didn’t care about them or couldn’t afford the daily running costs bought them. As a result there are loads of cheap ones out there most of which are absolute crap. Keep hanging on, you will find one for that money with low mileage and excellent condition.

Guys I'm really struggling to find a car, why dose everyone think there 80,000 mile 7 owner car think they are worth £20k
so any help pointing me in the right direction for the right car, would be much appreciated

I have a B7 which partially meets your needs. I am currently deciding whether to sell privately or part-ex. It is a saloon in Sprint Blue. It is a lovely car but needs a bit of TLC and had 5 previous owners before me. I have owned and cared for over the last 6 years - regularly serviced with new clutch at 50k. The car is very tidy and only has 63k on the clock. The jobs needed are some cosmetic work to rear bumper and missing "S" from front RS badge - I am getting a quote for these from the local coachworks Shop, but won't get these fixed if I part-ex. The annoying thing is that I have an engine light on. I got a local garage to take a look and replace a lambda sensor but it is back and they diagnosed a problem with the system recognising the ignition, but they couldn't fix it. Audi told me it would cost £186 to diagnose and then they will look to repair. I hate the way those guys just squeeze you for cash but I will probably need to bite the bullet when they can fit me in (in 4 weeks!).

Anyway, it is a lovely car and very tidy inside and out - it just needs some effort, either by me or someone who buys the car. I haven't decided on a price but am open to reasonable offers.

Brett, no problem. I have it booked in for the emission light and am waiting for a quote on the rear bumper. I'll list once it is in 100% condition.

I was looking for a B7 Cab for about 8 onths before I found the right one, at the end of September when the sun had gone away.

I got what I still feel is an absolute bargain price, and whats more, it doesn't appear to be abused or problematic.

It's simply a case of waiting for the right one to come up. Keep searching daily, and when the right one comes up, you will just know.
