right lads a few enquiries but nothing serious, what do you reckon to my pricing in the current market??
I would say spot on with your pricing mate dealers are asking a grand more than you for simular Avant models, milage, etc so I would be patient if in no rush to sell and stick to your guns! Hope that helps.

See I don’t think the spread between private and dealers being a £1000 is enough.

They might not be great but there is meant to be some security in buying from a dealer and from most, finance options.

Of course the spread varies its not an exact science, I think dealers will try to get buyers tied in to a finance package with them, that's where the make a lot of their money. Personally I'd prefer to buy a forum members car, over a dealers due to a lot of the history of the car has been recorded on the forum and are well looked after, but would also not rule out buying from a reputable dealer, if the right car came along.

Yeah I understand it’s not a number set in stone but I thought you had seen a few comparable cars for only £1000 more.

I’d rather buy a forum members car too.

I like the look of the grey car at Blakedown though, minus the led fog lights, I’d of been interested in buying that from private seller.

Rocket1 did you find out what that similar car fetched on eBay?

Hi Bund, the ones I've seen for 16/17K have since been sold, I like the black avant at Blakedown but out of my price range at the moment. If you look on Auto Trader there's a nice Daytona grey avant 38k on the clock for £25,400 it was £29,400 so a big price drop over a month probably over priced in the first place?!

Also a black private avant up for same money in West London. Mad....

There was a nice avant on eBay I went to see the other day, 74k Miles, very clean in a heated garage, chap had done 1000 Miles in 4 years, tyres were like New and the car felt like New inside.

It needed a service on time alone and went for £17k.

If I’d of wanted one as my only car then it would of been a good shout.

I could do with an avant but have another 4x4 so can live with a saloon. If I could sell my sport for strong money(like people are looking for on a like for like condition wise Rs4) then I’d consider buying best around but I can’t and have had little interest.

Ah yes I saw that car Mr Chapple's on eBay wondered what it sold for did look nice, you went so far as to view it!
If you're not specifically after an avant, then there's plenty of saloons out there, one did get my attention was £12.5k guy had just spent 6k on it clutch suspension etc in Buckinghamshire, quite why you spend 6k on a car in a year and then sell it is beyond me, that had 100k on the clock tho, I think these engines are good for 150k at least.
As with your Sport someone will come along eventually, but I'm not really up to speed with the prices, high end cars I would imagine normally take longer to sell due to a smaller audience.

Rocket1 unfortunately I didn’t click watch so can’t see it.

Yeah I went to see Mr Chapples car as I flew into Gatwick last week. I kind of wish I’d had it but someone wanted it more than me. I was thinking 16500 including the service. The servicing under his ownership was all Audi but before hand placed I’d never heard of.

There was a car with £5000 of Work in Twickenham and a forum members car. I see that also, great mechanically but a bit tired on the outside, no BT and front bumper was damaged and I thought might need to be replaced as I don’t think as it was you could get the spoiler to fit. It had been ripped off and damaged the screw area. I was waiting to hear but I think that sold yesterday.

With these cars being 10/11 years old you're going to get some age related marks stone chips, poor lacquer small dents in places, but obviously you don't want anything that's been down the road too much. Mr Chapple's car was probably the right money, and his garage was nicer than most people's living rooms lol. I think you'll know when you've found the right car, just have to keep looking.
Sorry Rocket have hijacked your thread a bit but at least it's all things audi related and free bumps, I did see the other guys ad on Auto Trader think the reason it didn't sell was the write up 'exellent condition with Fsh with Audi' and that was it not much detail in that!

Yes was a poor description. It has sold but was sold outside of eBay so that why I'm unsure of the price. I,ll just keep sailing on for now I,m not heartbroken if it stays with me. I,m only selling for what it's worth to me as it is a truly cracking car that I still love with every drive. Mines also in a heated garage and hasn't covered more than few thousand miles in my ownership. I work half mile from home and have a second car so it's just an as and when car.
