Still trying to work out stuff on the car and dont appear to have the shift lights when in the lap timer screen:

Is there an option to enable?

iirc they only activate when you're actually accelerating the car.

Tried that, going right upto the red line when driving in manual and using all the different car modes.

I'll check later but I seem to recall mine show in the HUD rather than on the DIS

That is the correct screen. Just tested it, the green bars go up very quickly on full boot & clearly turn to red once you're in the red line:

The display box is not there when idling, it appears once you're on the move.

The only difference i can see between the photos is that yours has a flag symbol next to the time. Is yours in sport mode?

It was in individual. Everything on dynamic apart from steering (comfort) and air suspension (auto)

Edit: Not 100% sure but I think the flag by the clock (top right) was telling me when I was going to reach the destination. Bottom left is the icon to tell I've caught a satellite

The only way it works is when you move the gear knob over to manual and not just by using the paddle shift to select manual. Hope that makes sense

Worked it out on the way home. The shift lights only show up on the heads up display and not the dash.

Yes, it's the same screen that tells you the oil temperature and has the boost gauge ie the most useful screen. What do you normally have it on?

Yup found itπŸ‘ I normally have it on the efficiency. Turn the aircon and heated mirrors off and it goes blackπŸ‘ I’ve done 300miles since the new engine so nearly time to open it upπŸ‘πŸ‘

I'm also unable to see the shift light, I had it enabled in my C7 S6 on the DIS, however in the C7.5 RS6 I am unable to get the shift lights on the DIS or the Heads up.

Any tips?

Thanks

You are wrong, they showed in both in hud as well in dash, you need to be in manual mode and use shift paddles
