Boost gauge.

Post by Greenslade » Mon Jul 10, 2017 11:13 pm

I have an AWE vent boost-gauge in my B5 S4, and just wondered if they ever did one for my C5 RS6?

Or has anybody fitted a different type?

Cheers :beerchug:

Hi,

I have now used two P3 Cars Vent Boost gauges the first showed Boost, Vacuum & Battery Voltage and as you will know from your present gauge they are invaluable in diagnostics as the C5's enjoy messing with your Performance with Vacuum/Boost leaks the second gauge I imported from the USA supplied even more info as it is permanently plugged into the OBDII Port.

The first gauge mentioned was used for approximately 3 Months and is Complete and Undamaged and in its original box and is complete with everything necessary to fit it to a C5.

I am open to offers but they need to be realistic as the price you see either from P3 Gauges or eBay does not include the cost of importing into the UK.

Message, email or phone me if you need any further info.

That fis control stuff is nice - the game of snake nearly won it for me. But in the end - honestly - hard to justify, even with the best application of man maths.

I must've missed the price for the FIS item,......do I need to be sitting down?

I am a sucker for an analogue boost gauge though.

The website only shows the vent gauge fitted for a left hand drive car. Did you have to mess around to get yours fitted?

It's a nice piece of kit. Snake is a winner - the rest of it is just "nice to have"

Might pop that on my Christmas list ;-)

How much hassle are they to fit?

Sorry for the delay in replying to your query.

The P3 Gauge is for a RHD RS6 C5 and installation was a breeze as you can see from the P3 Web Site.
