suspension queries

Post by white.akita » Thu Jul 13, 2017 1:57 pm

would a 2006 a4 b7 3.0tdi coilover kit fit on a rs4 physically ?
i understand it may not be upto the job due to the weight of the v8 engine being more than a 3.0tdi engine, but wondering if they are basically the same just the rs4 will have stiffer springs basically, is this correct ?

yup-generic kits
i have a jom coilover kit on mine-it was less than £200 quid-works well-just a tad too low for me,but it doesnt knock,roll,bounce-b6 kits should fit too
i will be moving to a better kit or possibly shocks/springs eventually-only for the height though-i"m old and dont like low cars
not ure if the bns engine will weigh much more than the diesels etc -its compact and alloy

thats as high as it goes too btw...
they appear to be two years/10k plus old-no knocking or clunking as yet
dont think the bigger tyres have been on long either-would have been standard size before...
