This pipe does have strong vacuum, it's on the UK passenger side next to the dipstick

You need to take it in to be checked out mate. You say the vacuum hoses have been removed from the exhaust valves. make sure they are plugged up. They will most probably be pushed back in under the bumper.

Re: new rs4 with problems , help please
I can't see any pipes for the exhaust boxes at all.
That is under the airbox again with no vacuum at all going to it.
I'd really like to be able to fix it myself, if anyone can help with this ?

The hoses are disconnected from the back boxes. Take a look under the rear bumper.

Re: new rs4 with problems , help please
I found green hoses disconnected from the rear exhaust boxes.
With the engine running I could feel no vacuum in the pipes.
I have blocked the end of the pipes off but it's made no difference.

Why would there be zero vacuum coming from this unit ? I pulled the pipe off as pictured and there's no vacuum with the car running at all, with it plugged in and the car idling for 5 mins then turned off I immediately removed the pipe pictured and absolutely nothing. No hissing nothing.

Sounds like you need a new engine mate.

Doubt it.
Anyone know why that valve would have no vacuum ?

The electrical connector next to the pipe has had some crap repair job done on it in the past. What does that do ? Would it stop vacuum ?

Re: new rs4 with problems , help please
dont pull pipes off here and there with it running you will flag all sorts of issues that will be multiple red herrings
get Vagcom and clear all faults-check what comes back after they are cleared-i have a snap on solus -its very good in expert mode on these too-but vag-com is better
you need the later Vag Com cable too-not the cheap 5 quid one-a hex-can

Re: new rs4 with problems , help please
I pulled them off to see it there was vacuum with it running which there is not.
I did then delete all fault codes, the only 2 that keep coming back are p2004 and p2005

Them fault codes basically say there is no vacuum going to the inlet flaps. There is no vacuum whatsoever at the junction box ive pictured. Anyone know why ?
