Yep. Should be able to keep up with some of the machinery attending, however others i may struggle with:) If nothing else, as long as i set off up front, the quicker machinery behind will be sh1t scared to overtake me.

Can't make this date (probably not in a suitable vehicle either) as am at Camper Jam that weekend. I am however having a hoon round the Evo triangle & surrounding areas on the 16th July:)

Ah Camperjam. I actually have a catering business and will have three catering kiosks at Camperjam that weekend. But don't tell my staff I'm off on a jolly while they are working
This might be the only reason I don't get there.

We've been for the last 5yrs on the bounce. Is a fantastic event for the family, assuming i ignore the many £10's i'll be haemorrhaging in the damned fun fair.

What catering will you have there & i'll keep my eyes peeled whilst asking for mates rates?:)

All the Fordhall Farm trailers. I think this year a Hog Roast, Mk1 Transit coffee van and BBQ.

I hope so! Honestly gutted to be missing this - the last time I did a Wales road trip I was in a B6 S4 and vowed to be back in something quicker and less wobbly! The roads are amazing.

I'm sure Ilya will have his GoPro's with him!

What's happened?

The EPC and CEL lights came up on the dash and it started running rough being down on cylinders. I had VCDS with me at the time so pulled the codes, car reported a misfire on cyl 4 and went into cylinder de-activation mode. So thought I just had a failed coilpack.

Car recovered to Audi and after 48 hours investigating, the mechanic thought it was a fuel injector. Replacement ordered and fitted which didn't make a difference, so job now handed over to Master Tech who happened to be away in Germany for training. He got back yesterday and had all day on it, yet I've not heard a thing which doesn't bode well for a simple fix.

I shall call them for an update after the usual morning service rush. But imagine there is a some head scratching going on and it's at the stage now of Emailing and live link ups with Audi Technical; they will advise on what to check and test for, which can be quite a long drawn out process from my experience. Hence being a little concerned for the trip now, as I think an engine strip down might be on the cards, although I'm told the cylinder has compression. Fingers crossed it'll be something ancillary and fixed for next week, as I want to get my new set of tyres, front pads, brake fluid and exhaust all fitted, ready for Wales.

Oh and I’m moving house next week, so might have a little less hair by the end of all this.

I'll probably need new brakes after Wales, I think they are due to be replaced but just not had the time, i've hardly been in the country lately! Off to Ibiza today for yet another stag do!

Hopefully next weekend I'll get the time to have her washed, and I need to get the wheel balancing checked as I've developed a slight wheel wobble between 60-70, I think a weight has fallen off or something.

Still going to be awesome, even without our resident mechanic Ilya, and Mr ASBO Faisal, lol.

Phil - Been down that road before with my Gearbox issue before the Scotland RS246 trip. They have no obligation and refuse to put you in S/RS product, unless your dealer happens to run one on their service car fleet - which never happens. So right now, it's just a V6 Diesel Q7 for company.

I've now spoken with the service advisor and they're as I suspected, just waiting on Audi Technical to confirm going ahead with lifting the cylinder head. Not good

Think I need to be downgraded to a 'Maybe' for the trip now.
