Quite fancied going to Le'Mans at some point, but sod that.
You can fix that with the old hairdryer trick.MikeFish wrote:Oh and if that wasn't enough there was a huge lump of bird poo on my car and it left a mark!
Yeah I will try it when I get the car back thanks.
Nice vid (and car). Who the f*ck jumps on someone else's car for god's sake and when they do, what are they expecting, a handshake.Cook wrote: ↑Sun Jun 18, 2017 9:26 pmhttps://youtu.be/HNpo3OQkEdw
Just got home and apparently im a you tube sensation, so my daughter tells me ! Shame you couldnt hear the newly fitted millteks as didnt have it in dynamic mode
Didnt realise his mate threw a bottle of beer at the rear quarter glass didnt smash as kronenbourg french glass is <beep> compared to the gorillas set of shades ! Shame the bonnets made of chocolate though. Had a look and all the dents are on double skin !
And dont hate lemans 24hr. Or avoid going. Its an amazing weekend and i will be back next year. Its a shame a few dickheads ruin it for the 100k brits who make the pilgrimage each year. Saw 4 rs6 whilst their and they really do create a bit of a stir when your out and about with some real audi love from 99.9% of attendees
Well hitting ppl not very wise idea
What mileage your car has? And which production year?
Hopefully your encounter will not be as severe and it will be an easy fix but back in April I had a similar experience - Having driven back through Europe, by the skin of my teeth I only just made it to the Calais Eurostar terminal and the beast conked out. Was initially told by the AA it was coil pack failure with total loss of combustion... However once recovered to the dealer, further investigation revealed that it was not coil pack failure but actually a broken valve inlet spring in cylinder 6. This meant a total engine strip down and rebuild with complete new head. A total of 301 bolts needed to be taken out and put back, and it took around 2-3 weeks work as the part was on back order from Germany. Thankfully it was still under warranty as around 10k worth of repairs... Anyhow... this was a good reason to upgrade to a FL PE, which I did and am more than happy with. Good luck with your repair.skirs6 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 17, 2017 8:50 pmIt is the RAC don't forget. Audi assist arrived about an hour later and their diagnostics showed same faults plus another code but can't remember what that was as it's on their report with Brighton Audi. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's something quite simple to fix
