You can fix that with the old hairdryer trick.

Hope everyone's RS's get sorted - worried to drive mine now!

I've done Le Mans and won't go back, too many idiots with no respect. Could someone explain what the hairdryer treatment is, be interested.

Not entirely full of idiots, you just have to plan campsite carefully. No idiots in the grandstands....

And today was a fantastic day of racing.

Does indeed sound like a bad weekend for some.

As regards the Le Mans incident, I've only been the one time & camped at Blu Nord with 1st Tickets on the PistonHeads site & had a fantastic weekend. As for Mad Friday, i have to be honest that 'taking' part is a brave move & i much preferred to be a spectator rather than join in with my car. Didn't see anyone jumping on cars but plenty got a soaking with **** filled water pistols if their performance (burnouts) were not up to expectations.

Some numpty on our site (think they were in a TVR) trying to show off managed to lose it & crash into a Q7 & something else in the middle of the night, which made for an interesting morning after discussion.

Nice vid (and car). Who the f*ck jumps on someone else's car for god's sake and when they do, what are they expecting, a handshake.
Unlucky for hitting the other bloke but hey, you couldn't see properly.

Seems a little bizarre that the diagnostic system identified the engine as the 3.0 litre petrol and not the 4.0 litre V8.
It is the RAC don't forget 😂😂. Audi assist arrived about an hour later and their diagnostics showed same faults plus another code but can't remember what that was as it's on their report with Brighton Audi. I'm keeping my fingers crossed it's something quite simple to fix👍👍
Hopefully your encounter will not be as severe and it will be an easy fix but back in April I had a similar experience - Having driven back through Europe, by the skin of my teeth I only just made it to the Calais Eurostar terminal and the beast conked out. Was initially told by the AA it was coil pack failure with total loss of combustion... However once recovered to the dealer, further investigation revealed that it was not coil pack failure but actually a broken valve inlet spring in cylinder 6. This meant a total engine strip down and rebuild with complete new head. A total of 301 bolts needed to be taken out and put back, and it took around 2-3 weeks work as the part was on back order from Germany. Thankfully it was still under warranty as around 10k worth of repairs... Anyhow... this was a good reason to upgrade to a FL PE, which I did and am more than happy with. Good luck with your repair.
