Exhaust etc "shouldn't" effect warranty.....hope your engine and tranny are ok long term or your snookered.

Audi picked my map up straight away on my old C7.

Although did get non "engine" related warranty work done.
Well my dealership are aware of my intentions and said if anything goes wrong "bring it back stock".

What engine/tranny issues did you run into? And how did you "honestly" drive it?

20ks worth of transmission work may change their mind. But hey, ho, its your risk.

No one yet. But I know a guy with a mapped S3 that has engine trouble and they refused to pay for it.
And what about the guy with the MRC RS7 that had a melted piston? Pretty sure Audi aren't covering his costs.

Ok so no one with first hand issues thus far...

I get that modding comes at a risk and you gotta pay to play.

I tuned/modded my Golf 7R and my RS3 to which both ran faultlessly. In part it does also come down to the way you treat it pre/post upgrades.

Fingers crossed I have little to no issues. And if so here is hoping Dealer come good if its something major

I will just say this. I am very very friendly with my dealer. They have always worked around my previous tweeks. But recently I was going to have the SQ5 mapped before my service and I spoke to the Master tech and he said he no longer could cover my aRSe if anything went wrong cause AUK are now sh1t hot on picking up tuned cars. He mentioned that anytime a car goes into the workshop for "ANY" kind of work the car is plugged in and all data is transferred directly to Audi and is compulsory.

And there have been several cases of engine failure for standard cars so luckily covered by warranty.

Exactly what I was told by service advisor at Teeside Audi.

Rob Chorley...highly thought of in OEM audi RS products now works there...staright from his mouth

Just to add I had no engine transmission issues when I ran a map...just a occasisonal misfire but that's common knowledge.

its pretty easy a I see it. If you cant afford to fix it if it goes wrong don't tune it. Why should dealers be expected to pick up the cost of failure due to tuning?? if mine fails I don't really care I will just fix it. As someone else said "you pay to play" lol
BMW 540i
2018 GTR
F90 M5
X3MC
RS3 Saloon
RS7 FL best car I've owned. No faith in turbo oil screen (turbos failing) or sticking oil scraper ring causing missfires.
F10 M5 LCI still no rear grip lol
S7 black Edition Too big and heavy
S3 8V FL DSG 310ps, road noise is a joke
RS3 8P Rubbish
C7 RS6 Fantastic car but missed playing
GTR R35 800bhp, too extreme, crazy fast though
911 Turbo Remapped. Hated it
F10 M5, awesome but no rear grip
RS6 V10 700BHP crazy
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 600bhp

Wasn't the RS7 that had a melted piston caused by him putting redex in every tank?
