I just spotted (not RS), that if I lower the rear seats using the auto buttons in the boot, if the front seats are back far enough for the dropping rears to touch them that the front seats fold forward to avoid them touching. Got to love those little touches.

Is that in the RR? I assume the tilt forward electrically then back to original position once the rear are fully lowered? That would be flash! Or is it a mechanical release and the just pop forward and stay there? Nice thought but not so flash.

Surprised to read that. My rear seats just crash into the back of the fronts.

Edit. Ah, now I see what "not RS" means.

After over a year I have finally worked out what the emtpy foam / polystyrene type tray under the false floor is for. It holds the load retaining hooks that have always lived in my load rails!! That was bugging me for ages.
The false floor you are talking about the space in the boot where the compressor for the flat tire is?

Great write up! :notworthy:
I didn't know about the shift lights (did about boost gauge and temp), will check that out.

Yes, there is a storage bit in there. Or is it under the tray with the tools and Jack? I'll have to take a look again but I thought it was in the first bit as you lift up the floor on the right hand side.

After dozens of car cleaning sessions....setting off and getting dirty water out of the mirror housings...finally folded mirrors the other way and water drains out great!!!
