the good thing about having the separate sim slot is you are free to purchase the data as you please. I assume with the new systems with it built in you have to purchase data at a premium?

i only use the data for the connect apps - google earth, traffic etc, not tethering, i find that instead of buying a pre loaded card it is better to use a payg as so little data is actually required.

I have just ordered a sim, quite looking forward to trying it out. If anything it will be a godsend when travelling with the kids
