FL lowering via vcds

Post by Marcus_RS4 » Sat Mar 11, 2017 10:32 am

On air and thinking of lowering via VCDS method rather than the lowering links. Has anyone done it?

Any stories? Learning points?

I've not done it, I have DRC. But I believe this is only possible with pre-facelift cars unless someone has worked out the security code now.

What Mike said only possible on pre-FL I don't know of anyone who has achieved it on a FL car.

You can as your already probably aware buy of the lowering modules which is an option and lower car on the fly from your phone.

Hi All

We can lower the Facelift cars on air using the genuine VAG system for a reasonable price,18mm-22mm is the max most of the time before we need to fit adjustable ride height links. Please pm me if you need it done. We are also the new UK supplier for the German system to do it on the fly via in car wifi and we can beat any online quote including installation, Fitting requires pinning out into the Can Bus system so not just an easy diy fit.

We have 3 FL cars all on air, one with the controller and 2 lowered by us please see our Facebook page for pictures. SW Autos Biddenden.

Thanks Stuart
