It's going to cost a "f*ck-ton", but what the hell.....

As you suggest, this is going to be - what - a £150k car in Turbo form? It's not like you can walk into Porsche and demand a 15% discount either. All very nice and all, but you could get a Ferrari FF for that.

The RS6 is about my tolerable limit for a practical car. When you venture over £100k, for me it has to be a 'proper' car.
Current Fleet:
2016 Audi RS6 Performance
2015 Porsche 991 GT3
2015 Porsche 991 Carrera 4 Cab
2012 Porsche Cayenne Diesel
2010 Land Rover Defender 5.0 V8

You can get an FF, yes, but then you'll also get the Ferrari costs that go with it. I'd imagine a 5 year old FF is a very different proposition to a new Panamera. Still have a big want for an F12 mind!

It's a step up from the RS6. I've had a drive in a regular Panamera 4S and it's well beyond anything Audi have including the S8. Cockpit is awesome front and back.

The Sports Turismo offers 4+1 seating over the saloon.

Just look at it, looks ridiculously good imho. The light bar at the back alone is worth 50k.

Amazing, but £100k+ so is a bracket above the RS 6 and moving it closer to FF.

I would too go for a used FF as even with Ferrari costs, the depreciation would be less.

I'm still not convinced. It has improved a lot over the years, and there are some angles it is starting to look nice but to me it is still not as pretty car.
And I can't help feeling it won't look like that when you buy it. I imagine most of the will be driving around with wheels that look too narrow / need spacers and lowering. I think that image above has stanced it better than it will actually be.
And for £150k I'd expect a car to look really nice. I haven't seen the interior though, but I'd expect that to be nice. And good customer service is not a reason for me to buy a car.

I liked the old Panamera but the new one is pretty stunning both inside and outside. I might wait to get a nearly new one in 2018 because year 1 depreciation will be as ridiculous as ever.

Who said it was 150k?!

Turbo starts at 117, plenty of value below that.

<beep> customer service is a reason not to buy Audi. I've been reading about Palmball's R8 experience. That's shocking.....

There's no shortage of photos.

C7 is just about done anyway, C8 would be the comparison.

if rumors are to be true, due to the cost cutting, isn't the C8 going to be based on the same underpinnings as this... ?

hope so just for the hybrid turbo s engine alone, as whilst being in the pannie is a nice place to be, I'm still not convinced on the overall looks

I think it looks fantastic, but IMO it's a bit of a missed opportunity. People generally buy these cars to load-lug their dogs, buggys and other large baby/family paraphernalia... or if you're MikeFish then it's to lug around 99% of his local Halford's ICE dep't!

This only has 20litres extra boot space over the normal Pan', which wasn't great to start with, but ultimately judging by the pictures the rake of that rear window will significantly limit the 'usuable' floor space.

I love the new pan, but practicality has always been its shortfall, this promised to solve that, but it seems they may have just missed the mark.
