Front number plate

Hi all,

I'm sure this has come up numerous times.. so apologies. I did do a quick search but couldn't find an obvious answer. I want to remove the front number plate holder and secure a smaller plate to the grille. What's the best way to do this? I've seen a few like the famous purple car and for that matter Mr JWW's new purple car too.

Any advice/help very much appreciated.

Just two screws hold the number plate holder in so it's very simple, ran no plate for a few weeks and then put a sticky plate on the front

If you have a pre facelift model 4G, I have a short plate frame available here in HKG. I can give it to you if you pay for the postage.

I bought Ben Ho's. It's a perfect fit. I couldn't get the part number to find it from Audi UK

The part number above is 4G0 807 285 S.

Are you saying Audi Uk won't order the part for you?

No not at all I googled it but couldn't find anything. It was just easier and probably cheaper to buy from Bem. As you can see it's perfect

I have to admit I did just cut down my standard plate

They will order it but it's special order and £120+ from memory

A dremmel is cheaper - unless of course you get from HK!
