Coming together nicely now Paddy, but I wish they would hurry up and do the side vents in the bumper.. Been annoying me since the start! Why have they left them to the end...

The RS belongs to Adi, he's been building it for a fair while now

Gold Wrap finally arrived so making a start on the gold touches. We couldn't source an exact matte gold to match the wheels but found a very close gloss so going with that.

Centre stripe is what I want after much deliberation. I just think it suits the muscular shape better. Width wise I have matched to the width of the 4 Audi rings, seating gloss black on top of the matte with gold borders. This will continue over the roof and down the boot.











Once the upgraded OEM Headlights are back from Trups and fitted it's going to look awesome. In the meantime a picture showing the laser etched new lens.





Just with the new lens and prior to the led bulbs being fitted, the difference is really noticeable.

Splitter now wrapped in the gold





Yesterday I sent by express delivery some of the gold wrap to Trups, www.emtuning.co.uk, so he could have it laser cut and applied to the outer ring section on the lenses for me. Those lights are looking great now I think











Would be silly not to sit the gold behind the RS badges on the side as I have on the rear





Headlights should be back Friday morning, so looking forward to getting them fitted back on.

I was just thinking the same. I'm not a fan of the comfort seats and even less so in that colour and was thinking it was going to be the down side of the car but looking at it with the doors off and the matte black wrap it just seems to work for some reason and I really like it. And probably makes it even more unique. Might even go so far as to say it suits it better than buckets (certainly standard buckets without any wrap etc).

Had the image in my head Mike but have tweaked it slightly as we've gone along. Thought the gold rings would be a nice touch and give the impression of a pair of eyes. I want the finish to be classy you know, not over the top. I'm happy so far.

Yeah, never liked it myself in the original Misano Red. Tried black buckets but didn't like them so put these back in. I was a bit worried about the look with the wrap but I think it looks great.
