jobs list

Post by Mac101 » Fri Jan 13, 2017 11:41 am

Only had my rs4 b7 just over a week but have put a list together to bring car back to how it should be i knew about a few of them when i view the car and this was a good way of getting price down
New disc and pads all around just received yesterday
New clutch and dual mass flywhell as cars clutch is heavy
New oil cooler pipes as one has slight weep on it may go for upgraded oil cooler while its being done

Only thing i am looking for is a good place that does a mild remap and can do away with the high revs cold start so looking for advice on this one

Cheers

Where are you based? MRC is the place for a re-map if you are in the South. And regarding the high revs cold start, why do you want to get rid of this?? It does it for a reason.

Jules is based North-West, he may be able to help? Send him a PM.

With regards to noise, that's funny. Not sure if you can do away with the high rev start to be honest, but I'm no expert at all, so don't take that as gospel.

Good luck :thumb:

Depends on what you mean about the revving.

Does it hunt? Or is it just cold start?

Cold start can be mapped out. MRC do this on most of their remaps for the B7. I've had my cold start mapped out as well as the secondary air injection.
