Christ, I would be crapping it over whether or not they would have everything bolted back on perfectly or not! Well done that man, big ballballs.

Are you having any additional protection layer put over the front for chipping?

A full re-spray if done properly, ( engine out etc ), will cost you 2/3 times more than a wrap and then you might not like the finished look!

You can choose almost any colour you want with a wrap or even mix it up a bit. It gives an extra layer of protection to your paintwork of course and if you have a slight mishap or scratch, then you just replace that section with new vinyl. When it comes to selling your motor, it can be removed for a much smaller fee and the body work underneath will still look like new.

Wraps have had a lot of bad press in past years, but that is only down to choice and selection of who does it. There's a lot of detailing work and decontamination required on the body work before you go anywhere near it with vinyl.

To do a proper job, parts need to be removed also, so you need someone who knows what they are doing. Going the whole hog and including door shuts ( which I think is a must ) will cost a bit more of course.

My friend Adi,s level of work is superb. He would have your motor a minimum 2 weeks. You just have to see how clean his unit is as that speaks more than words. His core work is detailing.

Large balls not required when you have Adi on the case. If he is not happy himself about removing certain parts or doors he will say so. The bonus with the B7 is that you don't have to remove the doors using the main hinges, so it's literally bolt on and off with no issues. This allows for as much vinyl as possible in those hard to reach areas

When we wrapped my GT4, Adi was not keen on door removal at all but still managed to do a cracking job

Stunning job on both cars!

Sounds silly I know, but I never realised how much effort goes into wrapping a car...

Still working on the door shuts. It's quite a fiddly job on these doors. Moving parts, i.e. Hinges will have to be left red. Pics to follow. All front end has gone back on including headlights but have now decided to send them in to Trups to work his magic. They will be fully upgraded and painted in a combo matte/gloss black.

Your new wheels will be RAD's? If I get your seal of approval, then I will be a happy man hah... :notworthy: ...I'm still more excited than you though. I love my adidas trainers Jules, like you did/still do and was even thinking about adidas stripes at one point but thought that would be too much....keep it simple and classy...

Indeed, I always used to look at them as a bit of fun - wrapped my bike panels for example but that is another level and amazing workmanship
