Price Drop ! B7 RS4 Avant Daytona, Comfort, FSH

Post by pennpromo » Thu Jan 19, 2017 9:39 am

Due to an unexpected change in my business I have to really reluctantly sell my B7 RS4.
Spec as follows:
2006 RS4 Avant, Daytona Grey: such a cool colour!
131,000 miles with FSH consisting of a thick file of bills and old MOTs etc.
MOT until Dec 2017.
3 Previous owners, the last one for five years.
Black leather comfort seats, piped in grey in good condition, good mats.
Recently refurbished wheels, good tyres.
Front and rear seat heating.
RNS-E satnav with 2016 disc.
6 CD changer in glove box.
Quattro logo on front grille.
Car is on Autotrader and Ebay (Item number 172479918310), at £12,950
Link: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2006-Audi-RS4 ... Sw9GhYc1ZF
With lots of pictures to show condition.
Only thing that needs a bit of work, being picky, is the rear bumper offside corner with a small crack in it, otherwise the car is in terrific condition.
I have a set of DRL's on order from Trups that I would forward on to the new owner.
Everything works including switchable exhaust
Recent Bilsteins, top mounts and H&R springs, control arms, I have all the DRC stuff in a box too.
Car is in Lymington Hampshire during the day, Christchurch Dorset in the evenings.
Really very sad to have to sell but I need to do a whole lot of towing and she's too good for that.
Doesn't show the mileage and offers keen value for someone to have as a keeper, as I had intended.
You would never know that she had covered the miles by looking and driving her.
In fairness I think the comfort seats are more practical too when you have to get in and out regularly!
Probably really regret selling but needs must ...
Would take £12,500 to a forumite for an easy sale.
My mobile is 07740 900 227. Simon.

Hi Simon,

Looks like a decent car for the money, one quick question, are they OEM b7 rs4 alloys? The offset doesn't look right and the concave doesn't look deep enough?

Just an observation.

Well spotted AndyEvo.
They are OEM Audi alloys on the car but from an A6 with winter tyres with I think an ET45 offset?
I have the original alloys as well but have been meaning to refurbish them as they look a bit tired.
The ones currently on the car have just been done and are immaculate.
Would sell both sets for another £500 or so with tyres
And yes it is a really nice car and I am sure that I will regret selling but as mentioned I have to do a lot of towing and she is just too good for that.
Should probably just buy an old tow vehicle but I can't justify another vehicle.
Simon.

Ebay is a complete PITA !
Had so many offers of dodgy part exes its not true.
Would love to sell to a forumite as even though she is high mileage she is a really nice car ...
Would sell for £12,800 inc both sets of wheels and tyres and the old DRC parts for a quick sale.

Just dropped the price on Ebay and Autotrader to £12,300.
At that I believe its a really good value RS4 as it's so nice.
Would do it with both sets of wheels and DRC bits etc for £12,700 to a forumite if interested ?

Just a quick update: I have put on the original wheels and tyres now, as whilst not the best and needing a refurb for any genuine buyer they are probably what's best long term.
So whilst tatty they are genuine OEM Audi RS4 wheels.
Could still do a deal with the other wheels too if anyone is interested.
Can't really see why it has not sold at this price as its by far the lowest price HPI clear RS4 Avant on the market at the moment, OK I accept that miles are high but it doesn't show them and runs well.
Simon.

Its an expensive car to run and maintain let along when they are at that sort of mileage. Although its cheap on the face of it, B7's with that mileage hang around for a long time.

I could be tempted if it was cheaper though :bigblink:

I would put the original wheels back on, those wheels are doing it no favours at all when it comes to selling it.

You could easy get the originals done for £240 for a good job, I know most of these pay way more than they need to by all
being told one or 2 places are way better than the others.

Get the wheels on and it will sit much nicer and look like it should, having them daft et45 things it loses its appeal and would make people
cautious why it has them on.

Also then you can sell the second set.

Just my opinion

Big Price Drop ! B7 RS4 Avant Daytona, Comfort, FSH

Ok, I take on board all you are saying: original wheels back on and for a quick no hassle sale £12,000 with both sets of wheels and tyres or £11,500 just with originals.
Guess if you wanted to track it you then have a spare set ???
So there you go a very cheap genuine RS4 Avant.

Hi simon, im currently in the market and have seen your advert more than once, first thing that did stand out for me in the pictures was the dog in the passenger seat, immedietly i thought it's going to have scratches on the leather and smell a bit, secondly the wheels didnt look quite right and then thirdly the interior still was a bit dirty (mats and dash etc), not saying its in bad condition or anything but those are the 3 key points in the photos that took my attention away, im quite picky and cleanliness inside/outside is a big thing to me. Fresh pics and with those originals on should help i'd say. Glwts

Well it's gone. I will probably regret it but I was offered a really keen deal by a private buyer whom I did a deal with on a 2007 997 Porsche.
OK its not going to be the best tow car but I think I will have to buy a van or something !
Sorry to be leaving the fold but no doubt I will be back: I always seem to gravitate back to S/RS Audis ...

P.S I do have a set of 19" A6 RS4 pattern wheels with legal tyres that are in the original pictures, with spacers, if anyone wants a set for say winter tyres.
Freshly refurbished, would take £400 for a quick cash sale. Mobile would be best: 07740 900227. Simon.
