New car spec advice

Post by FaisalJ » Fri Dec 16, 2016 5:34 pm

This is a no brainier if it was me.

1. Spec 20s

2. Sell them as soon as the car arrives

3. Buy good quality aftermarket 21s

Then you don't have to worry about buckled OEM 21s, and it might even work out cheaper overall!

In fact, this video basically MADE me buy an RS6; and it's on 20s. So aggressive!

That looks good. What spacers do you reckon they are running?

My concerns relate to the titanium colour being so similar to Daytona, therefore not providing sufficient contrast between wheels and body.
Sorry RSQ but I love daytona and the titanium trim has grown on me, but I personally don't like the 2 together. The titanium suits some colours better than others; on white, blue and red it looks good, daytona is too similar and a litte lost and on black the trim needs to be a couple of shades darker. If you look at the configurator with a black car and titan trim it looks awsome but it sohws the titan much darker than it actually is in real life. That was my biggest regret; picking titan trim for a black car based on the configurator picture.

The landy in the background is my day to day drive. 5.0 V8 prepped by RPI at 300bhp through an Ashcroft upgraded auto box. Hilarious vehicle.....

Or did you mean the high ride height of the RS6 on air ;-)

And retrofitting the carbon costs a whole lot more than getting it from factory

Since I am being (rightly) and frequently bashed for photographing the new PE parked with the air ride on high (as I was fiddling) I will have to do more shots with it in normal.....

No it isn't an RS6 All-Road :beerchug:

Ha ha, I was originally going to mention about it being an all road! More photos in the lowered position please, maybe that should be in the rules; no photos of the air suspension C7s in their off road position.

Its all relative, Mike, all your cars are lower than a Brixton back-street drug-dealers' whore!!
