So I know understand that this whole drama just shows up around various Audi forums, I guess once the last one dies down they all wait like 6 months then jump back in and start it all again.

What I remember from the various iterations of this thread is that:
1) the guy lied about driving down to Florida to post a 1/4 mile time in his supercharged RS4, which was quickly proven to not be his slip and instead of admitting he was clearly caught in a lie, came up with preposterous excuses and half-truths to somehow claim that despite lying his car was that fast and could have done that time but he lost his slip or something so it was ok to lie and claim that as his own time.
2) the same s/c kit he claimed to use was effectively balanced on top of the engine with no other attachment or installation purely to help this 'story' so he could sell the kit on
3) somehow he managed to design and build a 700 TT RS4 where even MRC had previously given up, and despite claiming the car was solid and drove perfectly could never provide even a photo of how he achieved this
4) photos started showing up from a Photobucket account from some 'prince' guy, don't remember the exact name, of a turbo on a shelf and various tacked metal tube work
5) months, maybe over a year, later the guy with the photos states to slowly show the turbos actually plumbed in and fitted to the RS4 (along with the worst wing of all time)
6) everyone got bored and moved on, with a random update appearing every so often but still no proof of the car working
7) through his own brilliance and talent, the delusional owner/originator of the claims posted a dyno trace of his hard work paying off with a 700 whp pull. A trace later proved to not even be his car, again caught in a lie he tried to wriggle out of it
video of the TT RS4 in action surfaced, with what was estimated to be around 500bhp (based on timing performance against known tuned RS4s
9) owner claimed he had it at 700 whp still, but it was on pump gas at the day he had the camera out, or some other ha convenience rather than ever just Doug what everyone was asking for and showing any actual proof of his feat
10) thread dies down again, people move on sometimes pondering "I wonder what ever happened to that charged RS4 guy?

What I don't remember the specifics of was whether he was the same guy being chased around for selling supercharger kits that never worked based on lies and empty promises, and why the guy now showing up as "Mario the Liar" was so determined to prove this guy was fake. It was entertaining to see if all play out, and the idea of an alternative to TTS/MRC or APR's supercharger kits was exciting, but in the thread just ended up being complete nonsense. I'm sure this one will end the same way.
