I remember a time when you had to walk into a Shop to buy Parkers or Autotrader every Thursday :)

Glass's are more accurate, don't think you can go by value in these books. A car is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. If it happens to be more than book then that's how it is

That cars not far from me. There's an Audi specialist just around the corner from there, might be worth asking them to take a look at it if you wanted an inspection doing. I've never used them but have done work at their premises and they have a good flow of VAG cars going through.
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!

It sure does look in great condition, having just been detailed. I would ask about the private plate, say you don't want it and see if they drop the price. If they don't then you can always sell it on if you don't want it. I would also ask to check the service history and see exactly what work has been done, and who by. A lot of people think low milers are better, but in most instances the big things that go wrong happen around the 70-80k mark, so just bear that in mind. Might be worth checking what the warranty covers too.

Looks priced a little on the high side. You could wait till he's had it a few months then try again with an offer.

I don't think that car is priced that far off, especially from a dealer

it looks in great condition, which is getting rarer and rarer nowadays
