2007 Daytona Grey RS4 Avant + Ceramics/SS+/MRC* *SOLD**

Post by Oakesy » Wed Oct 19, 2016 6:22 pm

For Sale: 2007 Daytona Grey RS4 Avant + Ceramics/SS+/MRC stage 2 *NOW SOLD*

Due to a change in circumstances and new car requirements I have decided to put the RS4 up for sale after a year of ownership. She has been an absolute joy to own and continues to impress me every time I drive her.
I purchased the car from a forum member (STU) who maintained this car fastidiously with absolutely no expense spared. As the fourth owner of the car I have continued this attitude towards the car and she wants for nothing.
The car has a full service history plus extra interim services, I will have to confirm dates and mileages when I get home as I don’t have these to hand.
I have pretty much every receipt in electronic (Scanned) form from Stu’s ownership as well as scanned and hardcopy receipts from my ownership.

Factory options fitted:

- RS4 Flat bottom steering wheel
- RS4 embossed heated bucket seats with inflatable side bolsters
- Carbon fibre interior inlays
- Central arm rest
- BOSE sound system
- RNS-E Sat Nav with CD Mulitchanger, Analog TV tuner, SD slots.
- Bluetooth phone module
- Adaptive xenon headlights
- Auto-dimming mirrors
- Auto wipers
- Front and rear parking sensors

Options Retro-fitted by Audi:

- OEM Audi 380mm Ceramic Brakes (Fitted 2012 @ 49K)
- OEM Audi Sports Suspension Plus (Fitted 2014)

Extra points to note:

- MRC Stage 2 Remap (June 2015) Rolling Road @ 425 BHP / 461 NM (June 2015)
- Carbon Clean, Vacuum Check, Spark Plugs @ MRC (June 2015)
- DRC Pressure checked and re-charged for peace of mind (December 2014)
- Manifold De-flapped, solenoids, air box and oil separator replaced (September 2014)
- Oil Coolers replaced (December 2012)
- Clutch changed (November 2015 – Approx 15k driven since)
- Gearbox and Differential Oils changed (July 2014)

Front ceramics were supplied and fitted by Audi at around 49K and the discs are in fantastic condition, the front pads and wear sensors have around 1.5K usage on them so are close to new.

Rear discs and pads were replaced with Tarox Bespoke 324mm 2 piece discs in D95 design and Brembo pads less than 500 miles ago, so again, new.

DRC is in good condition with no defects noted from the Independent specialist and re-charged in 2014 by Stu.

After taking ownership of the car I took her for a service and check over at my local Independent specialist who noted the exceptional condition of the car both on the surface and underneath. A long-life service was carried out, although there was around 12K left on the previous service I wanted it done for peace of mind. There is still over 10K left on the long-life service or a few months if you prefer an annual service interval. (Again, I can firm up these dates and figures when I get home)

She currently sits at around 90,000 miles but the condition and performance of the vehicle is that of one with half the miles. The mileage will increase slightly as this is my daily driver.

The car sits on Good Year Eagle F1 tyres all round which have plenty of life left in them and is un on Shell V Power Nitro + or BP Ultimate without exception.

I’m writing this advert whilst out of the country so do not have all information to hand but I’m pretty sure the MOT runs until March 2017. If it is due in the next couple of months I will get it renewed. I will be back in the country around the 26th of October so will be able to confirm exact figures / dates then if needed.

I’m looking for Offers in the region of £19,950
Located in Lincolnshire

Remember this car as well, actually considered selling my own saloon to buy this, it is a minter and perfect spec, only thing missing is black optics.

This will not sit around long!

What is the expected lifespan of the ceramics and the rough cost of changing them?

Lovely spec!

Chris,
I have no idea of mileage for the rotors although I have heard that they are good for the life of the car, dependant on use, condition and thickness. The pads were replaced after covering nearly 40k and still had some meat on them. I think prices of around £2k per disc for the rotors and then complete Oem packages for around £6k supplied on ebay.
No doubt someone more knowledgeable will be of greater help than me.

Goodluck with the sale, it's a lovely spec'd car.

IIRC - Stu had all the DRC suspension replaced (and rear roll bar) with the optional OEM SS+ version.

For ceramic disc life. It all depends on how they're used, but you can expect somewhere in the region of 4:1 or 5:1 ratio (pad:disc).

Cheers Sam

I know he had loads done to the car during his ownership and will check it all over when I get home. Whether I will want to sell when I get home is a different matter as I love driving it.
