Online configurator - LED matrix lights
Online configurator - LED matrix lights
Has anyone else noticed that for the S6 and RS6 LED Matrix isn't an option on the online configurator? There's just one default choice which is LED lights.
I'm in the process of ordering an S6 Avant and have sent my configuration to the dealer assuming the LED matrix is standard spec but he's not sure what's going on.
Just wondering if anyone who recently specced up an RS6 online found out whether this is an error on the configurator or whether the LED Matrix is standard for 2017?

Re: Online configurator - LED matrix lights
It was standard on face lift on RS6 last year I think.
Re: Online configurator - LED matrix lights
As above, all facelift RS6s came with matrix LEDs.
Not sure about the S6 though.
Not sure about the S6 though.
Re: Online configurator - LED matrix lights
just looked on the configurator. Under standard equipment for the RS6 it states:
Audi Matrix LED Headlights
LED Headlights
LED Daytime Running Lights
For the S6 it states:
LED Headlights
High Beam Assist
LED Daytime Running Lights
Can't see it as an option either so looks like they are not available on the S6 which is odd to not even offer it as an option.

Exactly my thoughts, the dealer didn't know today when I wanted to confirm the order so have had to pause to find out what's going on.MikeFish wrote:just looked on the configurator. Under standard equipment for the RS6 it states:

On the interactive configurator both RS6 and S6 have one headlight option "LED headlights", neither say anything about Matrix but to confuse further I think visually the new standard "All weather LED" are the same as "Matrix LED".
Re: Online configurator - LED matrix lights
When you are in the interactive configurator there is a link on the right hand side that says standard equipment, that's where I got the info above from.

Re: Online configurator - LED matrix lights
You missed it Mike because you were correctly looking at the S6 !MikeFish wrote:How did I miss that?
Whereas km was, I think, looking at the A6 options.

Re: Online configurator - LED matrix lights
I looked again. Still no option for it on my configurator. Don't know why it's different or if I'm completely blind.
Re: Online configurator - LED matrix lights
You're not being blind, definitely not on my desktop configurator either. I'll download the Audi configurator app and see if that's any different.
