About £1200-1400 fitted Joules ?

An ex impreza chap eh ? I was very close to buying an Sti V or IV, but running costs, big end problems and gearbox problems finally put me off.

How did you like your time with the Impreza ?

You'll know ( or at least of ) bob rawle then ?

Hi Mark,

Yes I have heard a lot about BR.. an experienced mapper but one who concentrates on LINK modules.

I think the GEMS now retails up to £1600....!!

The STiV was great but I had got hold of it with a warranty replaced engine and at 35 miles ..YES 35...

Hence I was then able to modify the car properly in order to run within the UK environment ...fuel etc.. and hence the GEMS. Making the mods I did meant no detonation or reliability problems.

The car was great if it is a racing car you are looking for. Basically a toy that you took out to cover ground ..often twisty... very quickly. So I have no regrets at all with my change.

Many people do ask if I miss it to which I can honestly say no. I did hate the way I drove that car.... almost like I was possessed by a Scooby demon

Anyway, I am not new to Audi and have had 4 x S2's in the past.

I have more info on my ex Scooby within my webpage if you are interested.

By the way I agree with JR on your contributions, love to know what you do....

BR also maps MoTeC, I think he has an emulator to do JECS stuff too. he had an engine built and is now producing 465bhp/390lbft.

Decided that the impreza was a bit too extreme and too expensive, car itself is cheap but running costs etc are silly. I was only23/24 at the time so insurance was not funny.

Me ? I write software for offshore banks or at least thats what I'm *meant to do
And no it doesn't make me rich either!
