Huh? Are you being sarcastic? Isn't that the whole point of them?535dboy wrote:Look ok but awful to drive!

I think they look nice and that one is ok too (I see he has nicked the colour scheme for the wheels off the limited edition exige Cup)MikeFish wrote:Huh? Are you being sarcastic? Isn't that the whole point of them?535dboy wrote:Look ok but awful to drive!
They are a major frustration to drive both on road and track (driven them a lot at Goodwood and Thruxton) and the sound is dull
Just my personal experience opinion of course !

I'll have a babychame!Human Joist wrote:The m4 is an epic car so I can see where your coming from. Just be warned at some point very soon you may suddenly decide you also like men and fizzy wine and clothes that don't fit.
I was set on an m4 until Ross's b8 came up. I'm not regretting it! The m4 is lovely but the stealer wouldn't do a deal and that night Ross's came up so bought that.
Tough one. M4 is more focused but B8 is a nicer place to be.

Steady, you'll be getting tipsy at this rate. How many babychams can you drink?

Inclined to agree - I only drove an M2 for a week but going on that I found the car very dull. I didn't drive it on track but having a hard time understanding the journos who love the M2. Maybe my B7 and Cayman have spoiled me in terms of sound but still. Nice car but nowhere near worth that kind of money. No sound, dead steering and very average interior.
Also, DCT is OK but it's no PDK. Felt much more regular autobox-y than a sporty dual clutch.
B7 RS4 saloon Misano red, comfy seats, JHM tune & JHM full exhaust with cats and resonators - gone.
C5 RS6 Avant Daytona/Cognac - gone.
981 Cayman GTS Gray/Orange.

Wow that's really interesting. I really liked the look of the m2, but the dealer basically said cash today, car in October! And that was 2 months ago...JCviggen wrote:535dboy wrote: They are a major frustration to drive both on road and track (driven them a lot at Goodwood and Thruxton) and the sound is dull
