If the Quattro Grill badge [tacky much??] is factory fit then it will have DRC surely...maybe the DRC was rattling at the time? :bigblink:
What's the quattro badge got to do with DRC?
Pre FL, the only way to get the Quattro badge from the factory [why would you though?] was to spec the Dynamic pack which included LED lights and dynamic steering and of course DRC . I wanted Air [and definately no quattro badge] so spec'ed the LEDs and Steering sperately for the same price as the dynamic pack. So there is a fair chance that the rolled RS has DRC given it is a 2013 model

Really? That's stupid. At least they saw sense and changed it for facelift cars. But many people, myself included, like the quattro badge.

Different strokes for different folks- if we all liked the same things then the world would be a boring place...all be it a bit more peaceful!

Not sure about this. Until they pulled Estoril Blue in early 2014, I was all set to place an order pre-FL. I had it all configured up, including the Aluminium trim pack (at - IIRC - £865), which included to the "quattro" insert in the front grille.

I agree, though. Not a particularly nice looking thing, IMO. Estoril benefited from the alu highlights, though, I thought.

You are correct- just dug out the old brochure and if you specced the Alu pack then they threw in the badge- same if you went carbon. Rolled car does not have the ALU pack and the window trim is in silver so I guess it has the Dynamic pack and therefore DRC...unless he stuck the badge on by himself of course

Good detective work! Conclusion is that the poor handling of the car because of DRC directly led to this rollover.

A convincing endorsement of air suspension, which would have effortlessly ridden over the kerb with only the merest shudder reaching the driver's senses to let them know they were now in off-road driving mode.

Yes I didn't think that was right.

However, lucky it didn't have air otherwise it would have rolled over just going around a roundabout at normal speed without clipping the kerb.

Exactly what can happen on Air- particuarly given  DRC  rides so flat all of the time :bigblink:

Let's hope the driver is OK, that they don''t get too much bother due to the roadtax being out of date, and that they apprehend the person in the other car who apparently ran away :boots:
