Will also be having done Carbon clean a forced injection through the cylinders plus a normal fuel clean just to get every bit out of the engine spark plugs and all other little bits have been changed
If that's the case you might as well go for the Airbox too, didn't realise you have all those mods,do you know what power it puts out now?
I'm just trying to avoid placing a SC on it, mainly because of the money, as it would be more worth putting into an rs7 and I have no idea as of power it is currently producing, will find out on the 12th August before and after the intake

Sorry I was on about the second cats I can do them in the pit at home, I looked at long tube headers, but that is an engine out job and the headers are a few thousand

Cool. I did MRC stage 2, ITG filters, 200 cell cats, gearbox remap and carbon clean and made 460PS, a year later it did 423PS. It's a 2011 car.

I'm one of the few (if not the only!) mental people having just fitted this intake. It does sound amazing, haven't had enough seat time to really know if it feels any quicker although from previous experience with a MK4 Golf R32 its unlikely its genuinely made any difference, just the percieved increase to justify the costs! Its also incredibly well made, lots of parts turned up in a big box, and the online instructions were comprehensive enough for me to tackle it myself.

I have to say it certainly looks the business! However, style is nothing if there's no substance. Having looked at the Eventuri website they appear to have put some thought into the fluid dynamics so I'm keen to know how the car performs with one installed and how the following aspects of the car have changed:

-Throttle response
-Acceleration of the car
-Fuel economy

Improving the intake air flow on a NA engine can only be a good thing so if there is an improvement with the Eventuri intake then hopefully the improvements are quantifiable!

Agreed. Only time will tell if I can feel the difference. Throttle response does feel a little sharper and pick up off low revs is better. More testing/unnecessarily going the long way anywhere is needed!

I had an Eventuri on my old F80 great piece of kit but on dyno days I went on didn't show any benefit over stock, could be entirely different on b8 but as a result I'd struggle to part with £1.8k, does look fantastic though and on the F8* makes a nice noise.

I have one of these on my wish list, just after a set of Ceramic brakes though first.

Can you rotate the parts which the fiters sit in, so that you can hide the Eventuri badge?

Having tuned NA cars in the past there was never any point chasing huge improvements as they just weren't possible. The improvements from the modifications came through in the way the car drove. In particular there was usually an improvement with the throttle response at low revs and a marginal improvement in efficiency as well. Overall there was always a subtle improvement in how the car felt to drive so I will look forward to the results of the testing...

No you can't rotate the cone sections to hide the Eventuri badges unfortunately as there's a bracket that's factory fitted underneath.

It's looking good, I've seen some photos of it on Instagram. Aaron is a top bloke.

Aaron definitely knows his trade and you're right about him being a top bloke. Can't wait to see what he can do with Prism Silver.
