Possibly selling - whats it worth?
Possibly selling - whats it worth?
I know the normal answer is "whatever someone is prepared to pay", but I thought I'd ask as Autotrader seems to differ wildly in their valuations.
I am thinking of selling my 2007 RS4 Saloon - was hoping the collective expertise on here could help with a rough valuation.
2007 Misano red B7 RS4 Saloon.
FBSW
Recaro sports seats (the buckets hurt my glass back!)
RNSE In car system
Aluminium dash inlays
88,000 miles
Tracker fitted
Been in my ownership since May 2014 - I am the second owner from new - car had 65,000 miles when I bought it.
FSH (Audi then specialists) - last service at 87k in July 2016
MOT until March 2017 - last MOT had no advisories
Car is always garaged
Car has had the following work carried out (all while with me except the Coil overs which were fitted by previous owner) - not all of it needed doing, but was done as a preventative measure:
N/S lower rear arm replaced due to seized bolts - July 2016
4 x Dunlop Sport Maxx tyres fitted - still approx 7mm tread left - March 2016
MRC carbon clean and stage 2 remap with dyno print out showing 424bhp - March 2016
Roof gutters resprayed by Audi due to bubbling - Sept 2015
New clutch / flywheel / master cylinder / slave cylinder - April 2015 (at 75k miles)
New disks and pads all round and replacement O/S Aux rad - Jan 2015 (at 72k miles)
Coilovers
The car has genuinely wanted for nothing while in my ownership - if work's needed doing, it's been done! It has never been smoked in / had pets in. Seats are all in good condition. With the exception of a few stone chips (probably less than would be expected for a 10 year old car) and one tiny, tiny dent from some devil child opening a car dor on to it, the exterior is in excellent condition. The only downside is the aluminium window surrounds have turned a bit milky and the alloys could do with a refurb.
So..... thougts on value?
Thanks gents.

Re: Possibly selling - whats it worth?
Would say your in the middle of the 17 / 18 bracket. But as you say prices are very mixed. I have no long bought mine and paid 18500 from garage with 67000 miles.
Re: Possibly selling - whats it worth?
Photos? I'd say take a look at autotrader as a guide. £17 - £18k. I recently picked one up and I found that some of them were on the market for a few months so it depends on how quickly you want to get rid of it.

Re: Possibly selling - whats it worth?
A bit on the low side if you ask me. The seller showed me his car about 18 months ago, when I wanted to know what an RS4 was really like before I took the plunge. His wasn't for sale, so he therefore had no reason to hide any faults, and consequently the car performed faultlessly. Add in the MRC remap and it should be up there with the rest of the good ones, perhaps losing some points as it has no bucket seats. 17 to 18k seems about right to me. Just my 2p worth.arthur.d wrote:14-17k-imho

Re: Possibly selling - whats it worth?
Depends on paint condition with the Misano but I think the majority are correct at possibly 17k ONO, will be quite niche though with the colour, aluminum and comfort seats.
Sprint Blue B7 RS4 - Black/Titanium optics, Anthracite OEM 19's, De-resonated OEM Exhaust, TTRS FBSW, MRC Stage 2 De-flapped manifold, Full Carbon Clean, MRC Stage 2 Re-map, 431.5 BHP...... must...not...spend....more...
Re: Possibly selling - whats it worth?
I would agree with the guys at 17k plus, I paid just over 17k for mine which was a decent price, there are loads of cat d motors about at 14k to 15k on ebay etc which is making people price down non cat motors
2006 daytona grey b7 rs4, bilstein pss9, h&r rollbars, Apr stg1, carbon clean, deflapped, sachs single mass clutch, 8mm h & r spacers, stg performance custom exhaust
