I know where you mean

Mine have started juddering when braking from 60-70 so it's time to replace them.
Mine are currently doing the same, a couple of 70-0 stops will see them juddering like nobodies business, pads have been squealing a little while and now the pad light has come on, so all in good time

Jay - I saw a black C5 Avant, tinted and lowered on non-standard alloys heading left towards Gillingham from the 2nd roundabout (Savacentre) a few days ago. I rarely see a C5 RS6 round this area and wondered if this was you?

Front discs & pads

The first link I'm dubious whether they are actual OEM pads, not the cheap pagid ones. When I messaged him, he didn't even know OEMs were pagid RS
Just to update this, still waiting for the discs (ordered a month ago)

Seller only communicates in German, so it makes everything stupidly difficult. Seller doesn't seem too bothered that a £400 transaction has gone very wrong, and either he hasn't sent the parcel or the courier company have lost it. Either way, he doesn't seem like he's moving the earth to find a £370 package. eBay case opened against him the other day, guess we will see what happens.

In a word, avoid. Can't wait to give him feedback...

And now I'm struggling to find a replacement for anywhere near what I paid for them, ECP list as out of stock. 123spares are £460 or there abouts, or £500 for the discs and pads offer, but I don't need the pads...

You should name the seller on here so that anyone Googling him will come across this thread.

Try calling ECP to ask when they'll be back in stock.

I'll try to find the German brakes company I used in the past. They are trustworthy.

This company is trustworthy and they speak English if you email them:

And here they are on ebay.de if you prefer to go through ebay:

Still trying to find another German vendor I used for brakes in the past.

Can't find the other one. His ebay name was something like Urquattro1980 or similar.

Just out of interest what would you guys say was minimum thickness?

IIRC the min thickness according to the manual is 32mm but the min stamped on the disk is 32.4.

I guess the risk is that they warp when they get too thin, but there certainly seems to be a fair amount of meat on them.

ECP have got the non-drilled (I prefer them) in stock for £229 each and there is a 20% discount code bringing the total to £368 for the pair.

Brings the non-drilled down to £334. Bargain.

Only from 7pm to 9pm tonight though. I'm sure there will be other promos though.

How comes you prefer the non drilled?

In my case, it turns out the seller was being fed <beep> by the courier company saying they were on route and WILL turn up, but now have turned around and said it looks like they have lost them. He's getting a new pair out to me tomorrow with another courier.
