He meant bulbs. Pair of bulbs = 1 standard RS6 currency unit. Or RS c-unit for short.

I think there's a post on here where someone's worked out how to change the bulb by going in through the tailpipes........
Currently RS6 C5, VR6 Corrado, 1275 Mini, 100 2.6 Avant, Honda CBR600FY
Previously S4 B5
