**SOLD** B7 RS4 Avant - Daytona Grey

Post by JVJ » Thu May 26, 2016 9:57 am

** NOW SOLD **

Reluctant sale of my B7 Daytona RS4 Avant, which I have cherished for the last four years. The car is immaculate and drives beautifully; I am often complimented on the condition. I am a VAG enthusiast and have maintained the vehicle to the highest standard. There are no known issues; the new owner will be getting a very tidy car.

Equipment/Options

• Recaro bucket sports seats
• Sunroof
• Flat bottom steering wheel
• Carbon inlays
• Technology pack inc. adaptive Xenons, DVD Satellite Navigation and 6-CD changer
• Milltek valved stainless exhaust system (works with the sport button) with black satin tips. OEM system available.
• RS4 embroided mats (second plain set available)

Service History

During my ownership the RS4 has only been serviced by RS specialists Unit20 or APS, prior to this it has a full Audi service history and the previous owner was also fastidious.

• 14/01/2008 Used car multi-point check & service (14,692 miles)
• 01/07/2009 Inspection service (33,412 miles) - Audi
• 21/10/2009 Used car multi-point check (39,540 miles) - Audi
• 19/11/2010 Oil change service (52,578 miles) - Audi
• 22/07/2011 Interval service inspection & inspection service (62,773 miles) - Audi
• 12/08/2011 Used car multi-point check (63,260 miles) – Audi
• 01/03/2012 Replaced washer jet and wipers (67,219 miles) - Audi
• 09/03/2012 Clutch replacement (67,219 miles) - Audi
• 17/08/2012 New front discs & Pads (71,230 miles) - Audi
• 23/11/2012 Fit of Milltek Sport Exhaust - Specialist
• 21/05/2013 Full service, carbon clean, gearbox service, change rear differential oil (75,366 miles) – Unit20
• 08/07/2014 Oil change, oil cooler replacement, auxiliary radiator replacement, fit of Michelin tyres (79,871 miles) - APS
• 13/10/2014 Fit of Bilstein B16 Coilover kit – Specialist
• 13/03/2015 Service & inspection, fit of Audi rear discs and pads, four wheel alignment (85,4571 miles) – APS
• 17/03/2015 Full Brembo caliper refurbishment and respray, fit of EBC Yellowstuff front pads – Brake Caliper Specialists
• 19/05/2016 Fit of new Brembo front discs & Audi front pads – Specialist

Address of Common Issues

Maintained meticulously; the following common faults have been addressed during my ownership:

• Carbon clean performed by Unit20 in May 2013
• DRC suspension (prone to failure) replaced by Bilstein B16 PSS9 Coilover Kit - October 2014
• Oil cooler, pipes and both auxiliary radiators replaced July 2014
• Tyre sensor valves replaced July 2014
• All brake calipers stripped, refurbished and repainted - April 2015
• New clutch at 67k miles
• Seat bolster adjustment fully functional
• New discs/pads all round (approx £2k) – May 2016

Other Notes

• Current mileage 92k, will rise approx 100 mile per week
• MOT due August 2016 (no advisories last year)
• Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres all round (4mm remaining)
• All calipers are professionally finished in VAG Jazz Blue with RS stencilling
• Four previous owners
• Paintwork and interior immaculate for the age of vehicle

The Bilstein kit is fully adjustable for both the height and damping. I personally found it an improvement over the DRC system and the handling of the car is superb. I have it configured at standard ride height (and to satisfy my OCD the car now sits level, as with the OEM system the front end tends to sit higher than the rear).

£18,750

That looks like a very nice specimen, looks showroom fresh, with that sort of provenance some one is in for a great car.

Cheers

Looks good, do the adaptive lights have an auto setting? Does it have auto wipers?

My B8 has made me lazy.

Thanks for all the positive comments chaps! It annoys me when people don't write a proper advert so I've tried to cover everything :bigblink:

afraid not, although I am surprised the Tech Pack didn't include that.

That and the non-res are a little disappointing but overall it looks pretty good, I'll see where you're at selling it once my B8 S4 sells.

Non-res as in Milltek, as in the car is modified? Must have option if you ask me! The fact the owner has kept the factory exhaust means you can change back if you wish

Cars like this are a great example of condition vs price vs mileage. Makes it pointless to pay more for a lower miler when this has clutch, brand new front brakes and refurbed calipers, replacement oil cooler and aux rads, coilovers, carbon clean, alloys look immaculate etc etc

As in rather than the resonated version, that's all. I'd agree a stainless system is a bonus.

Did I mention the mileage? Or that it didn't look good? I only asked for what I'd consider additional perks on the spec. Condition over spec / mileage every time and I'll certainly keep this one in mind while I sell mine.

as mentioned the original exhaust is available if the Milltek isn't to taste, leaving the new owner with approx £1.5k worth of well sought after stainless system to sell on. I have only ever received positive feedback on the exhaust note though, with 'phenomenal' often being a choice word

I had resonated. But it wasn't enough. So I went and paid extra for a set of the non-res centre pipes as well. Purrrrrrrrrrrrrrrfect

Apologies - the 'condition vs price vs mileage' bit wasn't aimed at yourself in the slightest - just general comments! I should have posted it in a second post rather than all in one post. :beerchug:

My car needs to allow my new born twins to sleep in the back so it may need to be quiet.

No probs mate :beerchug:

Ahhhhh - definitely gotta keep them (and the missus!) happy! Pop a wanted post in the wanted section maybe? There must be a few users who have a set in the garage (swapped to non-res like myself and the res pipes are no longer required, or car sold etc). Or send 'grandadg90' a message - he might still have the ones mentioned here:

Most recent set I can find in the 'parts for sale' section, gives you an idea of price etc
