Robbie RS4 Avant

Post by tailoredtattoo » Tue Apr 19, 2016 10:44 pm

Hey. Been on here for a while and had my RS4 for 4 weeks now.

So after owning a 2008 R8 V8 I sold that to import a R34 Skyline gtr Mspec as I needed more seats! I waited 4 months for it to be imported and crashed it on tge 8th day of ownership! So with an ever expanding family I decided to try combine the two! :biggrin3:

Starting a little project thread

So this was when I bought it

Looks like a nice example :kissmyrings:

How much does the Air kit cost compared to coilovers? I've been thinking of getting a set of V3's but might be worth taking the jump with air ride.

Price varies depending on the kits man.

I got the best possible kit I could really accuair e-level and air lift struts and bags. Looking between 3-4k depending on a few variables! But I believe there shouldn't be much of a compromise in handling and driveability. Think this is the same as what Luke at plush ran on his RS4.

I contemplated coilovers but as a daily family car the scraping and usually stiff ride put me off. So took the plunge on these as it offers so much more.

There are cheaper kits on offer and all do the same job. And unless you drive around the roads like a track I'd be pretty sure you wouldn't really notice a lot of difference.
