I reckon it is fella. That's the car, VW Group are a little challenged on development budget, so at the moment it will be just get those cars out, also if we are seeing it now that must mean a 2017 launch.

Remember every change to a panel shape means a new tool, or press, and those things are seriously expensive. Just get it out there!!!

I think that's the point though Boff.

Those are just some whipped up 'allroad' arch extensions, from out of the parts bin to cater for the wider track. Once the drivetrain is developed and established, they'll then develop some proper arches with a little more finesse.

Those are 100% all road arches.

There's not an RS buyer on the planet would accept those on a final product lol.

See I'm seeing that a little different fellas, it looks like a stage on from the all road version we have recently seen, no doubt that is all road arches - but on this version they have used the swirly wrap to cover up and actual body, and it has proper RS exhausts.

Makes me think that's more than the all road mule seen in black, however this could be the all road mule with a wrap and now the proper exhaust

And look at the B8 wheels, they fit the arches perfectly - therefore leads me to believe that the 4wd system base is in its final form

I think this latest car is just that - the rs4 platform underneath. But it's just not quite the finished body yet. Bumpers are on so cooling can be done properly and exhaust can be sorted etc. But it's just a vanilla a4 b9 body "on top" if that makes sense.

I have a sense of disappointment about the RS4 B9 already. Unless they make it the little brother of the RS6 C7 in looks I think it will be a looser.
We shall have to wait and see

For Gods sake guys, this is a test mule! As Ross mentioned, its just a bastardised S4 with tacked on arches to cover the wider track of the RS. Have some patience!
