C7 cover
C7 cover
Do Audi sell an RS6 C7 indoor cover? If not do any other companies sell something? I could do with one as my dealer didn't seem to think Audi made them and it's not going to be used a lot, so will get dusty otherwise.
Re: C7 cover
These guys are good.
May have to call them regrading the RS6.
Top quality and super snug fit.
I have had 2 covers for a race car and an old Merc from them.

They look good. The Prestige version says it is made for Audi and looks just like the OEM Audi covers.

Re: C7 cover
Audi do indeed sell a beautiful indoor cover. It is not "RS6" branded but does have the silver rings logo on the front. It fits all C7 A6 Avant cars and was an option on ordering (about 220 quid I recall). I is made of a lovely neopropene type soft black material and even has "pockets" for the wing mirrors. It is slightly elasticated so it really hugs the curves of the car.
I am really happy with it. I am less happy that my '6 has been sitting under it lying dormant for over two months due to being abroad at the moment.
I will try to attach a picture.

Thanks for the info. I'll see if they can order one. How well does the RS6 fare when left for a few months? Do you trickle charge it?

Re: C7 cover
no problem. I will answer you question in full when I am back next week and take it out of hibernation.
I have not been trickle charging it. My Brother has kindly been turning it over a few times during this period and he says it seems just fine each time.
The only preparations I did was to ensure the bodywork was clean and dry before applying the cover and ensuring the fuel tank was full (to prevent condensation) and taking the mileage - lest said Brother decide to "borrow" it. Whether the fuel is still full I doubt as my Brother has sent me several videos of him revving it in situ - the sports exhaust sounds amazing when in a confined area such as a garage - just mental !!
