Wanted RS4 B7 Avant

Hi All,

I'm on the hunt unmolested well cared for for a RS4 B7 Avant. Obviously looking for a well maintained and looked after example with the usual known issues sorted.

Wishlist as follows: -

<90k miles,
Buckets,
Bose,
Sat-nav,
Preference for Sprint Blue but will consider Daytona Grey or Silver,

I'd like some history on DRC, brakes, exhaust, oil pipe, exhaust flaps, clutch & flywheel if any available.

I'm in North Wales but willing to travel for the right vehicle, budget <£22k.

Hi there,

The car I have advertised on this site is a standard original example hence the brake/suspension issue.Once addressed and rectified it will be one of the better ones available.If interested and you spend the quoted £2500 - £3000 to upgrade you would have an excellent 3 owner example for well below the £22k you potentially have to spend.

Now the proud owner of a B7 RS4. Nervously drove it home last night worrying about every little noise / smell, but no issues so far. Only thing I'm slightly worried about is a small accumilation of black dots on the rear tailgate, oil or rubber or something else? Anyone have any experience of this?

Could be a cheap oil based tyre dressing splattering up the car or soot lol

I had this on my first one, I put it down to having been sat at the garage and moved about their yard.

Probably from a dirty exhaust, went away after a good trip home and a couple of cleans.

It's probably tar spots, just use white spirit or a clay bar after washing to remove them.
I've experienced the same on my saloons back bumper. My wife's Golf Edition 30 suffers from tar spots badly and I don't know why, but the above method gets rid of them.

Yes I think thats all it is. cleaned it off and just been for a bit of a blast & there's no new spots.
